Sophie Lovell
Born in London, UK, Sophie Lovell has been based in Berlin since 1994 and is an established writer, editor and art director in the fields of architecture and design. She has written a number of books, including the authoritative monograph Dieter Rams: As Little Design as Possible (Phaidon) and is featured in Gary Hustwit’s documentary film “Rams”. She has been involved in the founding, design and editing of a number of magazines and was editor-in-chief of the ground-breaking digital magazine for architecture and beyond, uncube. She is the Germany editor of Wallpaper* magazine and is also a co-founder of the &beyond collective and studio_lovell, both specialising in next-level publishing-related projects. She writes and edits regularly for a number of international publications and creates bespoke publications for clients.
